Safety signs for shipboard use

The international aspect of shipping requires comprehensible and uniform safety signs on ships. For you and us alike, ISO 24409 regulates and defines the necessary standards with regard to labelling out at sea. The standard explicitly refers to the labelling of escape routes, emergency equipment as well as rescue and fire protection devices. It contains all the symbols and signs that are used on board. This standard also defines the symbols that are to be used for labelling the structural on-board fire protection equipment – as safety-related symbols for fire protection.

Durability and sustainability are particularly important in the production of a ship’s own safety signs. In our production, we manufacture high-quality signs that are suitable for both air-conditioned interiors and outdoor areas that are heavily exposed to UV rays, wind and water. With our in-house production capabilities, in addition to our standard dimensions and materials that are available from stock, we can implement individual design criteria for you.
